Viewing and Booking Appointments on Connect

AVA Connect allows users to book future appointments at their authorized clinics, and view their previous appointment status. This function saves time for both the patient and physician. Patients can plan appointments according to their physician’s schedule, and doctors can be prepared with the purpose of an appointment in advance.

Users can only book online appointments if their clinic is accepting online bookings. Users can only book appointments with clinics they have authorized under their Connect account.

Booking Appointments

You can access the appointments menu from the Appointments widget on the main dashboard:

Or via the navigation menu:

You will be able to view past and future appointments from this screen.

To book a new appointment, navigate to the Book An Appointment button here:

First, you will need to select your desired clinic from the authorized AVA Clinics under your account.

If you are only authorized at one clinic, you will only see this clinic in the Select Clinic list.

Then, select your physician.

Next, select an appointment type. Your physician will have designated certain appointment types with an appropriate time for the booking.

Next, select a range of available days for your appointment.

Your first selection will act as the start of the range, and the second selection will act as the end of the range.

AVA Connect will only show available times for your desired physician.

If no appointment times show up for your selected dates, there are no available appointments for your desired physician. You will then need to select a different date range.

Select your ideal time and date to proceed.

Next, please provide some information about the purpose of the appointment.

For example: if you only need one medication refilled, please list it in the text field. If you have a new symptom (like coughing) please put that in the text field.

Finally, confirm your appointment and hit submit.

You have now successfully booked an appointment. You can always view it or cancel it later from the appointments menu.
